Beau Henderson is a retirement planning specialist, a USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author, and the founder and visionary of RichLife Advisors. He has helped more than 3,000 clients to not only improve their relationship with money, but to live their unique definition of a fulfilled, meaningful retirement with purpose. Through his innovative RichLife Retirement Success Strategy™, Beau and his team at RichLife Advisors help families across the United States approaching retirement to properly address the six components a successful retirement:

  1. Maximizing income (including Social Security)
  2. Optimizing assets for long-term growth
  3. Paying less in taxes
  4. Planning for healthcare
  5. Protecting the people and things that they care about the most and

Beau has a passion for financial education—both in serving as a go-to educational resource and continuing his professional development. He has a degree in psychology from the University of Georgia as well as the designations of Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC®), National Social Security Advisor Certificate Holder, Certified Financial Fiduciary® , Certified Professional Retirement Coach (CPRC), Certified Bucket Plan Advisor, Master Certified Success Coach and Certified Master Behavioral Analyst. He is also an active member of Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group℠—an organization dedicated to the ongoing education and mastery of the latest retirement tax laws. Through a strict commitment to ongoing training as well as access to America’s IRA Experts, Beau stays current on the latest strategies to help clients keep as much of their hard-earned savings from unnecessary taxes as possible.

Beau’s message of the RichLife has been featured in media outlets, including The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, CNBC, MarketWatch and as a contributor to Forbes. He is radio host of The Retirement Resource and published author of ten books, including The RichLife - Ten Investments for True Wealth, The RoadMap to a RichLife: Success with Life, Relationships, and Money, Customized Social Security and 12 Steps to a Successful Retirement.

Beau’s passion for helping others organize their finances comes from a deeply personal experience—the loss of his father to lung cancer at the age of 49. He felt helpless as he watched his mother, who had been married to his father since she was 18, struggle with financial decisions and helped her piece her life together. Through his family’s heartbreaking experience, he found a silver lining when he realized that he could make a profound difference in someone’s life by helping them navigate important financial decisions. His interest in psychology, coupled with his newfound interest in financial matters, led him to a career he loves. Now, more than 20 years later, he has never stopped learning and growing through his work and helping others create a Retirement by Design.

Beau is an avid local business advocate, podcast enthusiast and studio owner of North Georgia Business Radio X. He was recognized as Junior Achievement’s Business Partnership of the Year in 2016 for his efforts and commitment to increasing financial literacy in the community. In his free time, Beau loves to spend time with his family, including toddler, Gwendolyn, and time in the mountains of Murphy, NC.

Joel Wilsford is an advisor and wealth manager at RichLife Advisors. As a part of our RichLife Retirement Success Strategy™, he works with clients to develop appropriate investment strategies for their unique goals, timelines and volatility tolerances. He provides direction and education for clients to feel confident in making informed investment choices that support their vision of a fulfilling retirement.

Joel completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and has a master’s degree from the University of South Florida. He also has his Series 65 securities license and is a licensed insurance agent in accident, health, life, variable life and variable annuities in the state of Georgia.

Joining the RichLife team in 2014, Joel brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry. With a passion for working with businesses, he founded an investment banking and advisory consultancy firm in 2003 that works with small- to medium-sized businesses to raise structured capital and navigate transition planning.

When not working, he enjoys contemporary art, opera, classical music, rock-n-roll and fly fishing.

  • Completed a graduate study from the University of Glasgow in Scotland on Medieval and Renaissance Studies

Bob Bartoldus is an Associate Advisor at RichLife Advisors. As a part of the RichLife Retirement Success Strategy™, he works with clients to develop appropriate retirement strategies that support their unique goals, retirement timeline, and asset allocation. Bob also provides paraplanning for RichLife Advisors.

Bob completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Fredonia and has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Winthrop University. He is a licensed insurance agent in the State of Georgia.

By re-joining the RichLife team in 2019, Bob brings nearly a decade of experience in the financial industry. He is also a founding member of the BNI – Suwanee/Duluth chapter and serves as the Treasurer on the HOA Board of his subdivision. When not working, he enjoys walking, theater, reading, and spending quality time with his wife, Jill.

Scott Harlan is the office manager at RichLife Advisors. Recognized for his exceptional organization and customer service skills, Scott enjoys helping clients with their daily needs, from managing paperwork to processing account requests. He oversees our team developments and internal systems to help ensure that we deliver the best service experience to our clients possible.

Scott is passionate about helping people and motivated by our goal to make an impact on peoples’ lives through effective financial planning. Prior to joining our team in 2019, Scott spent six years in retail banking. He is a graduate of the University of North Georgia and holds his Series 65 License which allows him to serve as an Investment Advisor Representative.

A life-long Georgia resident and active member of the community, Scott serves in the worship ministry at Hopewell Baptist Church in Gainesville.

  • Loves to mow the lawn and play bass guitar
  • Scott and his wife are turning their small property into a modern homestead and added some egg-laying chickens in 2021

Jordan Santiago joined the RichLife Advisors team in March of 2020 as our client care associate. Jordan graduated with a business management degree from the University of North Georgia. Jordan and Hector will celebrate their first wedding anniversary May of 2021.

RichLife Advisors is excited to announce their first ever internship program! Will South brings leadership experience and a positive attitude to the team. As the Workshop Intern, his primary role is to help set up and implement our educational community outreach events. 

Will is currently a student at the University of North Georgia, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance. Will enjoys recreational sports and participates in Basketball, Volleyball, and Ultimate Frisbee. When Will graduates, he hopes to become a financial advisor!

Born and raised in Royston, Will hopes to settle down in Georgia and make an impact in the community.
